Khanh Hoa province is famous for Nha Trang city, a seaboard town on the main road 1A. The littoral of Khánh Hòa is about 200 km long, with white sand and blue water which attract thousands of domestic as well as foreign tourists. There is during the whole year the sun on this beach and the sky is of Mediterranean color.
Khanh Hoa province has a two frayed ends and widened center form with three sides of mountain and the sea in East. On a straight line, the province is 160 km long in North-South, 60 km in East-West direction for the broadest area, 1 - 2 km in North and 10 - 15 km in South for the narrowest.
The total surface of Khánh Hòa is about 5.197 Km2 (including islands and archipelagoes), and classified in the middle of the entire country. The sea is several times broader than the ground. The littoral is 385 km long with about 200 bordering islands and coral islands of the Truong Sa (Trường Sa) archipelago.
The topography of Khanh Hoa is increasingly low in West-East direction with littoral mountains, hills, plains and islands. The two largest rivers of the province are Cai (Cái) and Dinh. The insular district Truong Sa (Trường Sa) gathers more than 100 islands.
The climate characterized at the same time by tropical monsoon and the oceanic climate is thus soft. The average temperature is of 26,5º C.
